Intellectual Property and Privacy Policy

Once a contestant has submitted an pitch or an idea, MPowered Entrepreneurship does NOT claim ownership of the idea. The idea is still the intellectual property of the contestant. While MPowered Entrepreneurship, 1000 Pitches, and all of its sponsors respect your intellectual property, please bear in mind that once you “pitch,” your video will be in public domain. Unless you have a patent or other type of intellectual rights to your idea, other individuals will be able to (legally) use your idea for their own purposes. All submission materials entered in 1000 Pitches are the property of MPowered Entrepreneurship, and once you submit your “pitch,” you give MPowered Entrepreneurship exclusive rights to use your submitted materials in any way, including, but not limited to promotional materials, ceremonies, etc. If you for any reason may wish to remove your pitch from public view, please emails us with the hyperlink to your pitch.
